Situated in a quiet, off-road location with a small parking area directly in front, and well away from the road, this recently renovated, fully furnished and equipped 18C cottage is so quaint and typically French, but also offers all modern facilities. The charming little private garden behind offers an ideal place to just relax and unwind, and to enjoy 'al'fresco; meals. BBQ and outside seating etc provided, as well as the use of two adult mountain bikes free.. Limousin-Cottage is ideal for a couple, but also has a double sofabed in the sitting/dining room, or a choice of occasional use single beds as required The accommodation is fully equipped for your stay, including bedlinen and towels (beach towels not provided) Only a mile or so down the road from the cottage is a beautiful lake, with a lovely open air swimming pool, with slide. The lake also offers fishing, riverside walks, pedaloes, etc., and a bar/restaurant with live music at weekends. On the ground floor: Through sitting/dining room with double sofabed, log-burning stove, UK and French TV, dvd, and a good selection of books, dvd's and board games. INTERNET ACCESS. Small fitted and equipped kitchen with washing machine. Upstairs is one large bedroom (travel cot high chair and safety stairgate available free of charge) and right next to the bedroom, a modern shower room. The lovely, typically French, little village, Mailhac sur Benaize, is situated a 10 minute drive from the A20 toll-free motorway for easy access to all parts of the Limousin. Limousin-Cottage is about a 45 minute drive from Limoges airport. The town of St Sulpice Les Feuilles has shops and a supermarket and is a mile or so down the road from the cottage. La Souterraine is about 10 miles away and offers a bigger selection of shops and facilites. The cottage has a log-burning stove, plus electric heating and is also ideal for off-season lets - the weekly rates shown are fully inclusive. April/May/June €200 weekly, July/August €280 weekly September €200 weekly.The cottage is ideal for longer term lets also - and is available from Autumn 2012 onwards at a monthly rent of €450 (electricity extra by meter for Winter lets) . This makes it ideal for a couple needing a base whilst house-hunting or renovating, especially as it has wi-fi internet access, UK television, and a washing machine.
