This typical Stone town house is minutes to the train station, bus stops as well as the shops, cafes, bars, restaurants. All the sights of Normandy and Brittany are close by. Mont St Michel is only 8 kms away and you can visit the Normandy beaches in a day trip, or take a trip to the beaches of Concale and sample their famous local seafood dishes. Perhaps a trip to Rennes, St Malo or Dinard is more to your liking, well all are close by.
You can safely leave your car outside the house.
The bustling local market is held every Wedneday in the town square about five minutes walk away. Delicious fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, oysters, mussels, chickens, cheese plus lots more including a British Stall with lots of Uk goodies if you really can't do without them!
There is a traditional Tea shop - Les Tartines situated in the town square serving hundreds of varities of tea, plus of course, coffee, delicious cakes muffins and huge portions tarts. Drop in after a visit to the market!
The bedrooms are fully furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables in the large double room and a clothes rail and bedside table in the twin bedded room, there is room to place a put-you-up bed for a child if necessary, the two bedrooms comfortably sleeps four adults and one child maximum. You will need to bring your own sheets & pillowcases and towels. We provide bed covers, pillows and doonas.
There is a comfortable dining room with a bookcase and old French drop leaf table with four chairs, through to the kitchen which is brand new and has everything you may need to either heat up a meal in the microwave or cook a delicious meal of the local produce. The choice is yours. There is a new fridge-freezer, new oven, slow cooker, toaster, sandwich toaster plus all crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans are included for your use.
The shower room is modern with a round glass wash hand basin, shower cubical with both large and hand shower heads, wc,
For your entertainment there is a flat screen TV with satellite dish giving a huge range of stations including all usual UK stations and more! There is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs as well as a selection of books to read. You can relax in the comfortable two seater settee or one of the three armchairs. There is an ironing board and iron, clothes maiden in the understairs cupboard together with a vaccum cleaner, brush and pan. I think we have thought of everything you would like to have in the house. It is available for short term rental most times of the year.
So come an enjoy a stay in our lovely town house. Being a town house there is no garden merely a place to leave the bin in the small back yard. But you have lots of places to explore and so you can spend the days out and just come back to the house to relax or eat.
