This is a recently renovated traditional rural Gite or stone cottage. It is situated in Peyremorte, a quite rural hamlet about 6km from the historic Bastide town of Villefranche de Rouergue famous for it's lively Thursday market. There are less than ten homes in the hamlet and there is no through traffic, so the peace and quite is only interrupted by bird song. 
Summers tend to be pleasantly warm with temperatures ranging from 25c to 32c in high summer. Evenings are usually spent sitting in the courtyard or in the garden sipping a glass of wine and watching the stars come out. 

The accommodation is suitable for two adults and has all the usual amenities. There is a large swimming pool in the sunny secluded rear garden which overlooks fields and the valley of the river Aveyron. All linen is provided including pool towels.

The region is a walkers paradise and ideal for visits to the many quaint and pretty villages and towns in the surrounding area. Aveyron has more of the famous Prettiest Villages of France than any other department. The region is famous for good food and all tastes are catered for. Among the specialities you will find duck, fois gras, saussison, pâtes, succulent veal (from calves kept with their mothers in the fields) and farm fresh chicken, not to mention fruit and vegetables from local sources. We are a short drive to Cahors where many of the famous wine chateaux offer wine tasting and direct sales for a fraction of the prices in the UK or elsewhere. 
Villefranche is less than 1 hour to Rodez - flights to London Stanstead and Dublin and about 2 hours to Toulouse airport for London Gatwick, Brussels, Amsterdam and Dublin and many other destinations.
There is a WIFI (broadband) connection.
