Two detached gites in a large hilltop garden of a converted farm in the hills of a national park just 10 minutes to the north east of Cahors, in the Lot - south west France.

The 11x5m saltwater swimming pool has a large sun terrace with a solar shower, table tennis table, sunloungers, parasols and spectacular views over the hills and sunsets.

Each gite sleeps up to 6 in two bedrooms and a double sofabed in the living room. They are equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay as well as a an ipod dock. There are fans in all bedrooms and hairdryers, linen and all towels (including pool towels) are included in the price. There is a selection of books and boardgames. Bikes and a mobile air conditioner are available for rent.

The gites are family friendly and there is a children's play area with swings, chalet and sandpit. A baby pack is available foc - travel cot with sheet and blanket, bath and highchair.

Les Lavandes: a pretty stone gite with two bedrooms (the smaller twin leads off the double mezzanine bedroom). You enter via the conservatory into a separate well-equipped kitchen. The ground floor also has a fully tiled shower room and large living/dining room with woodburner, widescreen TV, DVD player and ipod dock. The two bedrooms (one twin and one double) are upstairs. You have the use of a communal washer dryer. You have a south-facing terrace, with wooden table, chairs and parasol and BBQ) for your exclusive use.

La Provençal: a lovely, light and airy gite with great views and large openplan living/dining room with good-sized well-equipped kitchen complete with washer dryer. the gite is on one level except for the few steps down into the stone-walled bedroom. There are two separate bedrooms - a double with great views and a large stone-walled twin (beds can be joined to form a kingsize). This room also has a double futon if you prefer to use this instead of the sofabed in the living room. There is a shower room and large living/dining room with great views, a woodburner, widescreen TV, DVD player, Playstation1 and games and ipod dock. You have a south-facing terrace, with wooden table, chairs, pergola and BBQ) for your exclusive use.
