Just onto the market, this absolutely beautiful old cottage, situated in a small rural hamlet, just 3 km's from the village of Concores, near to Gourdon in the Lot.

Unbelievable to look at the cottage and think that it was built so many years ago and is still in such excellent condition. You can see from the old stonework they it has gone greyish in colour, like a very old church...

To the front there is a little cottage garden. To the far end there is an array of little old outbuildings, only really useful as a storage. Probably animals were kept in there many years ago but now they are every so slightly tumbling down but it just adds to the charm somehow. The old stone steps lead up to the terrace from the kitchen. Morning tea on the terrace anyone?

Well inside, it's almost as old as the outside! No not that old but certainly old. However, it is not a ruin either. The old French kitchen with that cantou fireplace... can you imagine how charming it could be? There are two bedrooms on this floor, both good sizes and plenty of cracks in the plasterwork... The lounge is similar condition but it has the most beautiful plaque above the fireplace. Views out of the windows are of all the fields.... the bathroom is relatively modern! A bit on the slim side and for some reason the loo is raised on a platform! There is an attic space, however was not possible for any of us mature (heavy!) people to go up the ladder which looked as if it had been made of twigs! You can see from the outside pictures though that there is a window there so there would be room to extend into there if you wanted to.

The views are lovely...

To the rear of the property there is a line of old animal housing, now I have to say I would get that taken down quickly! It's old and ugly!! What is rather nice is there is a pond also, not with the property but it might as well be as it runs along the rear of the boundary line. Big fat orange goldfish swimming around in there!

Underneath the house is a very old 'cave' the basement, including old wine barrels!
