Between the gorges of the Aveyron and Tarn and the forest of Grésigne lies the area known to the French as the golden triangle: a region characterised by its breathtaking scenery and amazing mediaeval architecture.   As featured on S4C's Pedair Wal yn yr Haul (Four Walls in the Sun), La Grange Galloise is a beautifully converted barn on the edge of the bastide village of Verfeil Sur Seye, with sweeping views down the Seye valley. If comfort and character top your wish list, then this is the place for you. Beautiful old beams and natural stone walls are a feature of this luxurious property, while modern appliances have been provided throughout.   Sleeping up to ten people, there are three bedrooms, all en-suite, an oak-beamed salon with woodburner and a farmhouse kitchen with a massive oak table that would not look out of place at a mediaeval banquet.   Step out of the kitchen through the French windows and you are onto the sun terrace, sitting atop the old village ramparts, where you can gaze down to the swimming pool, lower garden and the wooded valley beyond.  A wonderful place to dine al fresco!   The village of Verfeil Sur Seye is situated in the département of Tarn et Garonne in the Midi-Pyrénées, between the famous mediaeval towns of St Antonin Noble-Val and Villefranche de Rouergue. The village has a boulangerie, garage, post office, tennis court and the popular Rendezvous bar/restaurant.
