This is a very friendly and unspoilt part of France, providing hot summer weather and warm spring and autumn sunshine, whilst, in the winter, you can ski in the Pyrénées


On a regional level, the Pyrénées and the gateway to Spain are approximately 1.5 hours drive away and the seaside coast about 2 hours drive. Toulouse is 1.5 hours and Bordeaux about 2 hours. Auch,the capital town of Gascony, is about 3/4 hour and Pau 1 hour, with chic Biarritz 2 hours away.
