Walking and biking in the many country lanes is also highly recommended. On a regional level, the Pyrenees and the gateway to Spain are approximately 1.5 hours drive away and the seaside coast about 2 hours drive. Toulouse is 1.5 hours and Bordeaux about 2 hours. Pau is approx 3/4 hour and chic Biarritz is 1.5 hours away. There are airports at all the above cities.
