A very alluring property which is situated in one of the most sought after areas of the Haute Garonne, 5 minutes from the village of Aspet one of the most charming and approachable of all mountain villages.
The property has been the subject of an extensive renovation which includes all new windows, insulation, under-floor heating, solar heated hot water, electrics and plumbing. The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed but if it does not suit the new owners there are tiles to fill in where there are currently units, no need to hunt for discontinued lines! The open plan kitchen has a larder and there is a separate utility room which houses the central heating boiler (Viessmann) and a separate door to the exterio, in the same wing of the house is a large house bathroom, with large walk in shower. Taking the 'new' staircase upstairs lit by low voltage lighting sunken into the walls, it is apparent that the space between the ceiling of the ground floor and the planks of the first floor is unusually deep. The owners have made the most of the volumes to create a space between floors through which all conduits can be passed without having to compromise. The first floor has three good sized bedrooms,the master bedroom is large enough to have a shower room and dressing room and has marvelous views of the Cagire. A room which remains to finish which houses the solar hot water tank has been envisaged as the house bathroom. Taking a wooden walkway which runs above the front door we can move to the wing which has the Pigonnier, it also has a small office and the main entrance Hallway and the original wooden staircase.
To the exterior are various barns in a good state of repair which act as tool stores, and car ports as well as storage for the oil tank.
To the west and looking over a valley is the more private garden area, it is not overlooked and would be a great spot for a pool/ BBQ area and garden.
