External stairs lead up to the French 19th C style furnished bedroom with antique double bed and antique furniture.

French windows lead out onto a vine covered balcony  with views of the rose garden.
The rear bedroom window has extensive views of our 5-acre field, walnut orchard and surrounding woodland

This twin bedded room is directly linked to the double bedroom on first floor also with fabulous views .

Rear large covered terrace with rustic stone walls and traditional beams, ideal for outside dining whatever the weather    Relax around the farmhouse table, light the barbeque and pour a glass of wine, if you are lucky you may spot a deer or Hawks flying from tree to tree. If you step outside at night, you will be amazed at the sky The Lot is the least light polluted area in Europe, Thousands of twinkling stars ,satellites,meteor showers await the patient gazer. Bring your binoculars!!

Pretty orchard containing cherries, peaches and exotic trees.
Local information
5min walk away is a good-sized swimming pool and tennis court (small charge open mid June-mid Sept)
5 min walk to “La Poule au Pot” restaurant serving excellent regional cuisine and a la carte menu
½ mile away is the picturesque village of Goujounac, which has a small Hotel/ restaurant and village store. Horse riding is also located here
1 mile away is the village of Frayssinet -le –Gelat which has a small restaurant producing delicious stone baked pizza and regional cuisine. Le Relais Hotel  with friendly bar, grocers, bakers, post office and a picturesque lake with boats, pedaloes, fishing .
The market towns of Prayssac and Cazals are a 10 min drive both have excellent facilities i.e. supermarkets, banks, weekly markets selling fresh regional products, pavement cafes where you can relax and watch the world go by
5km away is Les Arques with the Ossip Zadkine museum and La Recreation restaurant as written about by Michael Sanders in his book “From here you can’t see Paris” (a good read if you want to know more about the way of life here)
The Dordogne valley is 25 minutes, the Lot valley and Vineyards 15 minutes, Cahors 30 minutes, Sarlat 40 min
This is an ideal location to discover the Chateaux, and Bastide towns of the Dordogne/Lot..
Stunning Rocamadour, Mediaeval Sarlat and Beynac castle are within an easy and pleasant drive away.

Fishing -  you will be spoilt for choice here with rivers, streams,lakes teaming with many varieties of fish.
