The town of de Quincy-sous-Sénart, situated at about thirty kilometres south-east of Paris and at 20 minutes from the capital by the RER D, has a population of 7,454 according to the 1999 census and covers 519 hectares.
It is in the Essonne department (91), on the boundary with the department of Seine et Marne, and the Yerres, a tributary of the Seine flows through it. Nearly half of the town is covered by the Sénart forest, 240 hectares.
Situated to the south-east of Paris, close to the most important universities in the region (Créteil, Evry, Cachan…), Quincy-sous-Sénart is the ideal town in which to study.
