Neighbourhood: This area very famous for its vineyards, Champigny, Bourgueil, Cotaux du Layon, the famous white wine d'Aubance and the Celebre 'Veuve Amiot'. It is also considered as the 'Garden of France' for its wonderful setting. Surrounded by a number of Chateaux, including Saumur, Loches, Langeais, Chinon and many others you can visit at your own leisure. Longue also is closed to a Zoo, only one hour from the Futuroscope, Poitiers, and only 20kms away at the Fontevreaud Abbaye you can pay a visit to Richard the Lion Hearts tomb. You will find nearby and in Longue golf, swimming pool, restaurants, bars, traditional Artisanat and Market, & a very well stocked Hyper Market Super U which have its 'Foire aux vins'. The Atlantic Coast is only a couple of hours away, the motorway will take you there direct from Longue.
