Locally, there are two large boating lakes and both have man made beaches. Both lakes are fully supervised by trained life guards to ensure safe bathing.

Looking further afield, the central Loire (Maine et Loire) and historic towns such as Angers and Samur are approximately 60 minutes south by car.
