La Maison Tranquille is a beautifully converted barn with a fully equipped modern kitchen, Vast lounge/diner which has TV/DVD ,games and 2 sofa bed(to sleep an extra2/4 if pre-arranged).Open beams and window seats overlook the rear garden and surrounding countryside. It has 2 large bedrooms(1 double and 1 twin) and a shower room with WC and sink.
At the rear of the cottage is a private courtyard with patio furniture , BBQ and large lawned area. There is a further terrace if you prefer.
Villepail is a friendly village with a well stocked fishing lake and boules pitch.
There are lots of forest walks and nature trails starting from the centre of the village.
Villaines la Juhel is only 7km away and boasts a weekly market, supermarket, swimming pool and many shops and restaurants.
We are ideally located to explore some of the most beautiful and historic countryside France has to offer including Sille la Guillaume Plage, the pretty villages of the Alps Mancelles, La Ferte Mace, Bagnoles de l’orne within ½ hour. Le Mans, The ferry port of Caen and the Normandy beaches can all be reached in 1 and ½ hours.
