We're offering Bed and Breakfast down in the South-West of France where the sun is much higher in the sky all year round.

Prices quoted are for a double room and breakfast for seven nights. You can also books nights individually at 45 euros in low season and 60 euros in high season.

The house is situated in a small hamlet on the outskirts of one of the beautiful villages which are to be found all over the Charente. It was completed in 1763 and is built in the traditional Charentaise style. The house is fully modernised and has central heating.

The house offers rural peace and quiet, but is within easy reach of all facilities [for example, the nearest restaurant is five minutes in the car. ]

The nearby village is centred around a ancient church .Each village in the Charente has its own character and history, and as ours is one of the more important in the commune, it has its own Mairie which is a lovely, typically Charentaise stone building.

The bedroom comprises 'la grande chambre' - the main bedroom of the house and an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, vanity basin and WC.
The room has a king size four poster bed. There is also a single bed available in the room for a child. We have a cot available for babies.
There are two windows which overlook the south-facing courtyard and the vineyards and fields beyond.
Facilities include Video player [ we have a library of films] , tea/coffee making equipment and a hair dryer.
There is a terrace with a gazebo where you can relax and look across a panoramic view of the vineyards and countryside beyond.

Breakfasts are essentially French, with a bit of English thrown in !
Coffee or tea is served with bread and croissants from the village bakery.
We also provide a 'help yourself' bar with a choice of cereals, milk, fruit juice and fresh fruit.
