The Property : We offer a high standard of accommodation comprising one Double en Suite, one twin bedded room, shower and toilet, open plan lounge, dining area, fitted kitchen. The whole area is light and airy with a total living space of 100 sq.mtrs. The property is on one upper level.

Outside : Large gardens with spectacular views over unspoilt countryside. Above ground swimming pool 18 foot x 9 foot. Tables, chairs, sunloungers, umbrellas BBQ and Bar are available for your personal use.

Other facilities : English TV & Radio Channels, DVD Player, small Gym, Books, Board Games, Boules, Washing Machine, Iron and Ironing Board. Broadband/wifi access. Fishing rods can be supplied upon request. Ample private parking.

Location : Set in a small hamlet of just 10 houses Les Assieux is situated on the edge of the forest and is an ideal location for those who like cycling, horseriding or walking. There is no through traffic and the area is safe and quite. There is a daily bread delivery and a butcher delivery twice weekly. We also have available for purchase seasonal garden produce and fresh free range eggs.

We are only 1km frm the village of Montrollet which has a large lake for fishing, tables and chairs for picnics and a children's play area. There is Restaurant/Bar, Post Office, Church and The Mairie.

The lovely town of St Junien is just 10 minutes away by car and in this town there are many shops, Restaurants/Bars, Supermarkets. There is a brand new Leisure complex with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool along with jacuzzi and sauna. A Golf Course and a weekly Saturday market to buy local produce.

There are man made beaches and swimming and fishing lakes nearby and several local attractions throughout the area and we have leaflets and maps available.

Getting here : By Plane : Limoges Airport is the nearest to us being approximately 20 minutes away by car. Ryanair and Flybe offer very reasonably priced flights from most UK Airports. Poitiers and Angouleme Airports are approximately 1 hour away by car and Ryanair offers flights from London Stansted. Car Hire is available at all Airports. Ferry Ports : Calais, Caen, Cherberg, Dunkerque, Dieppe, Boulogne, St Malo, Le Havre and Roscoff. Other : Euro Tunnel and Euro Star. We are in close proximity to Motorway Access.
