Located in a charming and picturesque village which is conveniently situated between two larger cosmopolitan towns in the beautiful Charente department. Large shops and supermarkets are all within a short drive but this pretty village also has a bar and a local shop. The airport at Angouleme is about twenty minutes away and Limoges and Poitiers (with frequent low budget flights to the UK) are each about an hour and a half away and the international airport at Bordeaux can be reached in two hours. The area is well known for beautiful tourist spots and the N10 dual carriageway between Poitiers and Bordeaux (and then down into Spain) is just a short drive away. The channel ports can be reached in about six and a half hours and the station for the TGV – fast train to Paris – is also at Angouleme.

This pretty cottage is full of charm with a large hangar/barn to the side which provides covered seating for summer dining, and ample storage – there is also a cloakroom in this interesting extra space. There is a small courtyard but the main asset of this property is the private garden located just a few houses down the road!
