Nestling in the village of Charme in the beautiful and tranquil countryside of The Charente region, close to many tourist sites such as Cognac, Angouleme and the protected Mediaeval village of Tusson, La Rose offers spacious family accommodation for those wishing to escape to a simpler, more relaxing pace of life.
Set within the courtyard of a 250 year old farm complex, the accommodation benefits from the use of a stunning floodlit fully enclosed 8x4 in ground swimming pool and sun terrace. Large enclosed garden where the children can play safely. A selection of games and books is available. This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom gite sleeps up to 9 people and comes with a fully equipped kitchen /diner and a lounge with period features. Large French doors lead from the dining area to an outside seating/BBQ area.
The house has 3 en-suite bedrooms and 1 large children's room sleeping 4 in a mixture of divans and bunks. One ensuite bedroom is downstairs. Both upstairs ensuite rooms have very large walk-in wardrobes providing a wealth of storage space.
Downstairs is a huge kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, large fridge and separate large freezer and is fully equipped. There is a separate lounge with comfortable seating and a TV with freeview satellite channels , DVD and video.
The price per week includes all bed linen and kitchen linen but not personal towels.
Changeover day is Saturday unless a prior arrangement is made.
£200 deposit is taken to secure the booking with remainder to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. £200 Cheque for breakages taken at beginning of holiday and is returned once the property has been cleaned and checked.
