Pretty little house and barn. Lots of scope on this one and a lovely situ right at the end of a very pretty hamlet. This house is usable, but the electrics have a preservation order on them which happily has expired – but it does mean you’ll need to renew the entire system. The property has a big living room with a granite fireplace and exposed beams, 50’s tiled floor, old wall cupboards and a big cupboard under the stairs. A brand new kitchen exists, this is in lime washed wood and works very well with the tiled floor. Bedroom 1 has beams and a cement floor, bedroom 2, is very basically painted, but feels a bit unfinished. The attic is usable for 2 more bedrooms, the main beam is a bit low, but the carpentry is beautiful. Another downside, the shower and loo are accessed from outside, currently, a bit basic, but at least you know they’re there. There’s a pretty little garden to the front and another garden over the lane which has a very orchard like feel. A ‘garage’ attached to the house is actually an old house, this has an earth floor, but a lovely granite fireplace, old wall cupboards and exposed beams, with another room to the rear and access to the attic, this could be another property if required.

Jolie petite maison et grange. Nous pouvons actuellement vivre dans cette maison mais ceci reste assez basique. En effet, l'installation électrique est assez ancienne et nécessite un renouvellement. La maison possède un grand salon avec poutres apparentes et une cheminée, le carrelage date des années 50, et il y a des placards sous l'escalier. Il y a une nouvelle cuisine qui est très sympathique avec le carrelage. La 1ere chambre possède des poutres et un sol en ciment, la 2eme chambre possède une peinture basic mais qui n'est pas terminée. Le grenier est assez grand et vous pouvez le convertir en 2 chambres, la charpente est impeccable. On accède à la salle de bain et aux toilettes par l'extérieur qui sont assez rudimentaire. Il y a aussi un joli petit jardin et un verger. Il y a un garage attenant a la maison mais qui ressemble a une ancienne maison, avec un sol en terre battu, mais avec une cheminée, des placards intégrés et des poutres apparentes, avec une autre pièce qui donne accès au grenier, ce qui peut offrir une 2eme propriété.
