Description

Panoramic view on the mountain and the village: 4 rooms flat for 8 to 10 persons right next to the ski lanes.
The flat is located on the residence’s last floor, reachable through the stairs or by lift usage, with its own entrance, it boasts a living space of 70m² on 2 levels.
On the main floor you have a spacious living room with TV and exits towards the balcony (10m², ideal space to sit and eat for 8 persons) with a cleared view on the ski lanes and the village. On this floor you will also find an american type of kitchen (4 ceramic hobs for cooking, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washmachine), finally independant toilets.
On the upper level (1st floor) there is one bathroom with shower and sink, independant toilets, one room with double bed, closet and access to a 3m² balcony giving view on the ski lanes and mountain, another room with double bed and integrated closet. In the middle of the floor is a 5m² landing room. The flat orientates towards the south-west for a maximum sunshine period all year long, with a breathtaking 360° view on the “la joue du loup” ski resort and the surrounding “Dévoluy” mountain tops.
The overall building is made of 33 flats conceived in a traditional mountain type of architecture, and in everybody’s independancy’s respect. It is located near local businesses, shops (400m), the bus stop (300m), the city center (450m) and restaurants (500m) with a straight access to the ski lanes, in the heart of the station.
It has been officially classified “tourism furnished 3 stars”, and constructed in 2008. The residence is new and is still under fitting out. Pictures of the interior will be available starting on december the 10th.
Exterior equipment: Simple access by car and private parking lot. The residence as a whole is dominating the station, as such optimizing its view, sunshine exposure and giving it a very quiet atmosphere. The residence is ideally located on the ski lanes, you’ll have your own individual, safe and secured ski box.
Interior equipment: 2 double beds (140cm large), 1 sofa/double bed and 2 individual beds. There is a TV with DVD player, cooking hobs, micro-wave, traditional oven, toaster, fridge with freezer section, coffee machine, showers, washmachine, dishwasher, kettle, hoover and CD player/radio.
The context: Ideally located and all comfort with a clean decoration. Recent construction called “L’Eden des cimes 2” from 2008 in a charming site. Direct access to the ski lanes right when coming out of the residence’s ski boxes.
Ski resort:
2 stations linked by a common ski domain: Super Dévoluy and La Joue du Loup (you’ll have a choice between a cosy and comfortable Superdévoluy station and La Joue du Loup which is smaller and more intimate, traditional type of village). Superdévoluy proposes 60 different skiing lanes (14 green ones, 24 blue ones, 13 red ones and 5 black ones) and covers 100 km of practicable ski. To get up and down those lanes you will able to use the 23 mechanical engines to get you back on top. You can take lessons from the professional French ski school professors and this station is adviced for beginners, it’s a great place to start learning how to ski. You’ll be able to go on top of the highest mountain there called Le Pierra (2500m) and enjoy an outstanding view on the whole vally and other surrounding mountains such as Le Grand Ferrand (2759m), L’obiou (2790m), Les crêtes de Farraud (2563m) and further away La Barres des Ecrins.
Warnings: You’ll have to check it with the landlord but usually animals are permitted.
Situation: your holidays’ station located between Grenoble and Gap (45km away), La joue du Loup is tightly linked with Super Dévoluy (5km away) by ski lanes. It has an amazing snow coverage during the whole year, the ski domain seduces with its diversity, with natural or artificial snow making it possible to ski all year long.
Surrounding activities:
Trekking, sliding, motorsnow in Super Devoluy, ice waterfalls, paint ball, horseback riding trips, tennis, night clubs, children clubs, ice skating ring, speleology and archery. During the winter: snowpark (1 acre of slopes, hills and bumps), boarder cross, big air, jump. Different ski circuits. Possibility to leave your children under surveillance (18 months up to 3 year old), then snow garden (3 to 5 year old). Things to discover not related to ski: The Devoluy chapels, Saint Didier church, exposition in the countryhouse, les Gillardes (2nd classified natural fresh water sources in France).
Access:By car: Highway until Grenoble, then N85 until Corps and follow direction Super Dévoluy then La Joue du Loup.
By train: Either go to Veynes Dévoluy or Grenoble stations. And then reach it by taxi or bus.
Good plans: several local restaurants with large choices of food, pubs, bars, nightclubs, baker, tobacco, grocery shops in the city center.
Rent: From Saturday to Saturday, shortest stay possible: 3 days. Tarifs varying depending on length of stay. Deposit: 500€, 30% pre-payment of the whole to reserve and the rest minimum a month before arriving. The landlord will not be there.
