Les Issambres is part of the Roquebrune commune, a seaside community offering beaches, coves and creeks with restaurants and a wide range of shops.

Activities
In Issambres the usual variety of water sports are on offer, from sailing and diving to water skiing and kayaking. There are several olive oil mills in the area worth a visit and various interesting hiking paths of differing lengths to explore either on foot, bike or on horseback.

Local food and gastronomy
Typical fresh produce includes the honey of lavender of Provence, figs, olive oil, truffle, tomatoes and sweet chestnuts. Dishes include the “ratatouille”, the “pissaladière” (savory tart with onions, anchovies, black olives) and the “bouillabaisse” (a fish stew).
