WE RENT A COMFORTABLE APARTMENT WITH 3 ROOMS IN CHÂTEL, classified "3 stars" by the prefecture.

Haute-Savoie, ski area of the Portes du Soleil ( 650 kms slopes ) Village near the Swiss border The résidence looks down on the village of Châtel. This area is called "Le Petit Châtel". This residence was built in 1999. Its looks like a chalet because there is wood on the walls. There are 14 apartments.
The apartment's outlook is very good. The exposition is south-west. So the flat is sunny, when the weather is nice. There is a panoramic views of the Châtel-Abondance valley.
There are a terrace and a lawn in front of the ground floor apartment. So children can play there easily, both Summer and Winter. When the weather is nice, you can have lunch on the terrace : there are 4 chairs, a table and two deck-chairs in the cellar which is in the corridor.
You can open the apartment and the cellar with the same key.
You can park your car in front of the chalet at your parking place.

The apartment is classified "3 stars by the préfecture of Haute-Savoie. It is a 3 room apartment (sleeping 6),
There are 2 bedrooms: - a bedroom with a bed for two persons (140 cm).
- a bedroom with 2 superposed beds (90 cm).
- a settee wich can be transformed in a bed for two persons. This sette is in the living-room.

The residence is about 2 km far from the village centre. There are free bus services. You can take the bus in front of the residence, about every 20 minutes. You can easily go to the village centre and to the different ski areas in Châtel.

The Barbossine chairlift is about 500m far from the residence. You can go there on foot or by bus. Then you can ski in the super Châtel ski area.
When the snow conditions are good, you can ski from Super Châtel to the residence. In the wood, near the residence there are:
- a track for hiking with snow-shoes in Winter.
- a lot of tracks for hiking in Spring, Summer and Autumn (The Conches Lake, the Mouille Lake).
- a lot of circuits for mountain bikers.
