It is a less hectic ski environment than its popular neighbours, les Arcs and La Plagne, but it is close enough to offer full access to these if desired. There are many other activities to enjoy in the area other than skiing, including hiking, mountain biking, walking, paragliding and lots more. There are bars, restaurants and shops in the village and with les Arcs just up the road there is never a shortage of things to see and do.

There are good bus links from Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva airports, which are all about two hours away, with the seasonal airport at Chambéry within an hour’s drive. The TGV stations are in Moûtiers and Bourg St Maurice and the N90 provides good access by road.
