Other popular resorts within a 30-minute drive are Tignes, Courchevel, Méribel, Valmorel and Val d’Isère. There are lots of other activities to enjoy in the area other than skiing, including hiking, mountain biking, walking, paragliding, golf at the nearby course and lots more.

There are good bus links from Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva airports, which are all about two hours away, with the seasonal airport at Chambéry within an hour’s drive. The nearest TGV station is in Bourg St Maurice and the N90 provides good access by road.
