Bisanne 1500 is a lovely alpine village, which has become the latest addition to the Espace Diamant ski area — one of the world’s largest ski areas with more than 185 km of linked ski slopes. The other villages are Praz-sur-Arly, Flumet, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, and Crest Voland. It is just five minutes by car from les Saisies but is linked for skiing. It is also possible to ski over to the Contamines via the navette service (the resorts are set to be connected in coming years). All levels of skiing are provided for in the area from novice to expert. In addition to this there are also 140kms of prepared trails for Nordic skiing and numerous walking paths and mountain bike trails. Other activities available include hiking, paragliding, hot air ballooning, dog sleigh rides and more. Bizanne is sunny for most of the year and has stunning views of Mont Blanc.

The nearest international airports are at Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble, with Chambéry an option during the winter season. The TGV station is 25kms south in Albertville and there are good road links to the village.
