Vendors description

The whole commune used to be one farm ; our house was lived in by the eldest son who was the farm manager.

It hadn't been lived in for twelve years when we bought it, and it had half a roof and no kitchen or bathrooms, just damp hideous wallpaper - so everything in it was put in by us apart from the marble mantelpiece in the sitting room which was just about the only thing left.

The sitting room fireplace has a wood burning stove set into it. We used to have a wood burning cooking range in the kitchen, but have recently replaced it with a gas fire that looks like a wood burner. There is a little walled garden with a pond in front of the house that opens up into the field.
