Maison de Chataigne is a turn of century guest house with character bordering on French Art Deco to slightly Gothic. The guest house is next door to a chateau situated in a quiet village of La Grand Bourg 8k from the medievel town of La Souterraine and 40 mins from Limoges airport .

the turn of the century Guest house that rests in the quiet village of La Grand Bourg in the La Creuse region of the Limousin France. An unspoilt area known as the French lake district with its many lakes , the river Gartempe and majestic rural countryside.

An area steeped in history from Neolithic man , Roman , Richard the Lionheart , and the Second World War. Perched on the northern tip of the Central Masif , its a walkers paradise and a cyclists dream or just simply come enjoy and relax and stroll amongst the many pretty villages and hamlets.
