Two charming south facing detached houses on the same private and secluded property. Each with their own private facilities. The high beamed ceilings make an attractive feature. Both houses are equipped to a high standard. Sharing the gardens and pool, it makes an ideal location for two families or friends. Prices shown as per property. THERE IS A REDUCTION IF BOTH HOUSES ARE BOOKED TOGETHER.
Both houses have fully equipped kitchens with dishwasher, cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave etc. The large lounges have comfortable seating, television with free to view box for English television, electric heating, wood burning stoves. Pretty dining areas in both houses. The bedrooms are bright and tastefully decorated. One house has a large double bedroom and a twin bedded room both share a pretty bathroom with separate toilet. The second house has one large double bedroom and a bed settee in the lounge. One bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet. Each house can take four people. Both houses have free WIFI. Outside there are two covered terraces overlooking the pool, both with seating. The beautiful gardens and pool area have garden furniture and loungers by the pool. All electricity, gas, water, bed linen and towels (except for pool towels) are included in the price.
All doors lead onto a fully paved area for taking meals or relaxing.
Our property is just 20 mins drive from the beautiful coast and pine forests of La Faute sur Mer and La Tranche sur Mer. La Faute sur Mer, with its miles of unspoilt beaches, is an attractive little town set back from the beach and has many restaurants, many offering three course meals for as little as 12 euros per person, including wine! There is a choice of small shops and also a casino. LA ROCHELLE which is approx 50min drive from here, is where some of the budget flights arrive and is one of the prettiest harbour towns in France, It has beautiful architecture, ancient arcades and harbour restaurants. Look across the old port at the two towers by the harbour entrance while sampling a wonderful meal at one of the many restaurants or walk around the harbour looking at the stalls and crafts on display. Take the bridge over to the Ile de Ré a fascinating little Island and enjoy the wonderful sea food restaurants. This is a haven for cyclists and walkers and makes a wonderful day out.
