From the front door a spacious corridor leads to a laundry/storeroom housing the new boiler, then to the bathroom with a hand basin, bath, WC and shower cubicle. There is a second WC. There are two double bedrooms and a third bedroom/study plus an integral garage/workshop. Outside there is a mature low management but pretty garden. Heating is via electric under floor heating plus a wood burning stove for the winter.

Chateau Barbet is 5 minutes from the village of Lombez. Here there is a dentist, doctors, pharmacy, post office, bakers, deli, and 2 supermarkets. This quiet residential park is largely a self contained community with its own swimming pools, fitness room, tennis courts, petanque court and Bistro  restaurant. An excellent home that is safe for children and adults alike.

Lombez is ideally situated in the stunning Gers department of South West France. The next village of Samatan is only 5 minutes away and it has a famous Monday market (No.1 in the Gers), restaurants and bars. Auch, the historic capital of Gascony is only 30 minutes away.  The famous Marciac Jazz festival is only 1hour away. Nearby lakes (Base de Loisirs Saramon, Lac de la Gimone & Reservoir de l'Astarac) offer excellent bathing, water slides & fishing.

Toulouse with its international airport and wealth of culture and shopping  is only 1 hour away. The stunning Pyrenees mountains only 1 hour 30, perfect for walking & skiing. Carcassonne, Albi, Lourdes and the Spanish border are all within a 2 hour drive.

Excellently served by a number of international airports: Toulouse (45mins), Lourdes (1hr20), Carcassonne (1hr40) and even Bergerac (2hr30) & Bordeaux (2hr45)

The park is primarily residential though it is often presented as a holiday park. In fact for much of the year, apart from late June to early September, it is very quiet as most of the original owners come for a month or two at a time. There are three main languages spoken on the park being French, English and Dutch, and there is an experienced park manager on site all year. The park is open all year round and cleaning and laundry services are available if you rent it out. Pets are allowed on the park for both residents and holiday makers.
