This market becomes a music night on Wednesday for 3 months during the summer 6.30 to late. Tables and chairs cover the square in front of the stage and you can enjoy local wine and food from the producers of the area. Moule Frit is very popular.

The medieval town of Pons is only 15 mins away and host some good events through the summer. The battle re-enactment with jousting is a spectacular day out.

Montendre is 15 mins in the other direction and has a large street market every Thursday and a Tuesday music night similar to Jonzac.
