Nearby Fruges is a lively town with excellent modern facilities, but it also has history and heritage. It is home to a war cemetery, and is within easy reach of the coast and many of the attractions of Northern France. It is also easy to reach from the UK, being close to the port of Calais and the Channel Tunnel, making it an ideal location for a weekend or holiday home.

Fruges is a vibrant market town with a great range of shops and services. Here you can find all the usual small shops such as boulangeries, patisseries, tabacs and more, alongside supermarkets for the big shop. The excellent weekly market takes place on Saturday morning.

Fruges also has a range of restaurants, cafés and bars to enjoy the best of the local gastronomy.
