Bellentre is located just 5 km from Aime and 7.5 km from Bourg St Maurice. The closest ski links are Montchavin - Les Coches and Bourg. Bellentre is in an ideal spot at the heart of the fabulous Paradiski area which brings together La Plagne and Les Arcs. It is ideal in the summer too with the lake and the cycle paths, endless walks from the village.

Bourg St Maurice is a traditional mountain town at the foot of Les Arcs ski resort. It offers access to some of the best skiing in the country for all levels of ability, although it also has one of the longest black runs in Europe. All types of winter activities are catered for too, including cross-country walks, snowboarding, climbing and so on. In the summer months the town is a big attraction for cycling enthusiasts as it often forms the base of a stage of the Tour de France. Hiking, walking, mountain biking, climbing and many other outdoor activities are available too.

Aime is a lovely bustling little market in town on the sunny side of the valley opposite La Plagne between Moûtiers and Bourg-St-Maurice. La Plagne is the nearest ski resort to Aime and has more than 120 runs catering for all levels of ability. It is also linked to the popular resort of les Arcs by the Vanoise Express cable car, so both resorts are within a few minutes of each other. All the villages in La Plagne have good access to one another and contain many other activities aside from skiing and snowboarding. Aime is a very popular destination in the summer months particularly with cyclists and hikers, plus it is close to the Vanoise National Park. This means that it is busy tourist destination all year round.

The closest international airports are at Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva, with Chambéry an option during the alpine season. Eurostar offers a direct train service to Aime, Bourg-St-Maurice and Moûtiers. There are good road links to all the villages in the area.
