This old house is a complete renovation project and is tucked away in the heart of the village of Prissac, an attractive village with a bar tabac, restaurant, pharmacy, butcher and boulangerie/general store. A short drive away is the larger historic village of St-Benoit-Du-Sault (officially ranked as one of France’s prettiest villages) where there is a supermarket and other shops and restaurants, and less than a 30-minute drive away in either direction is Le Blanc and Argenton-sur-Creuse, both of which are vibrant towns with supermarkets, shops and services. Argenton-Sur-Creuse has rail links to Paris and beyond and access to the autoroute A20 (toll free at that point). The international airport in Limoges is about an hour away by car.
The building currently comprises of 3 interconnecting rooms on the ground floor, 2 with traditional quarry tile flooring (tomettes) (22.5 and 24m2) both rooms have fireplaces, and the third with a cement floor (13.5m2).
On the first floor there are 3 more rooms, the first is a mezzanine (26m²) with an old fireplace, there is then another room (17m2) with a fireplace and finally a small room with tomette tiles (7m2).
Above this is the attic (50m2) that could be converted. There is then a further loft that is accessed from outside.
Attached to the back of the house is a barn divided into 2 areas (15 and 20m2).
There is a small plot of adjoining land approximately 25m2. There is no heating, and drainage can be via mains drains, although this will need to be connected.
