This elegant castle, built from the 16th century for Étienne Poncher, Archbishop of Tours, was renovated in the 19th century by its then owner, Sosthène II de La Rochefoucauld.
From 1981, the 4,000 m² building was transformed into a luxury hotel by its owner.
The park of 60 hectares includes recorded tree species.
The castle outbuildings of 1,700 m² face the castle, including a courtyard of about 500 m² paved.
