Overall, numbers at A Place in Sun Live at the NEC were up 5% over last year, with the organisers reporting that 4,094 visitors attended the whole event.

French Village Birmingham 2010

Although we took no count of those who called into The French Village, we were busy throughout most of the weekend.

Sarah Bogard of solicitors Furley Page stated: 'We all really enjoyed the event, and were pleased to see so many visitors despite the rather wet weather.'

This was the second occasion that French-Property.com have participated at A Place in the Sun Live, having been at the Earls Court show earlier this year in March.

Visitors had the opportunity to meet the team at French-Property.com, as well as the experts and agents participating in the exhibition.

Andy Bridge, Managing Director of A Place in the Sun Live stated that : ‘'This is the first time we have run the French village at A Place in the Sun Live in Birmingham, and it was pleasing to see there is equally strong interest in France as at our London show.

The seminar theatre in the French Village was very busy and experts were on hand to give visitors exactly what they wanted – focussed and detailed information on buying and living in France.

We look forward to the next event with French-Property.com at London’s Earls Court, 11th-13th March 2011.''

Matt Prevost, of Halo Financial Ltd, currency specialists, who sponsored the French Village stated that: ''We were delighted to be able to sponsor the French Village again, following on from our sponsorship at the Earl's Court show last March.

The number of visitors to the French village was very encouraging and we received excellent response from the seminars which were well attended on all three days.

It was great to catch up with others from across France and elsewhere, and an excellent opportunity to get their perspective on the business and economic climate.''
