The Lot is the department just east of the better known Dordogne.  It has stunning landscapes, dramatic gorges, slow moving rivers and numerous beautiful villages such as Puy l’Eveque (9 kms) and the attractive “pilgrimage” village of Rocamadour (60 kms).  Cahors (27kms) is the capital of the Lot and combines historical wealth with plenty of wine and gourmet treats!

The nearest International airport is at Bergerac - a drive of about 90 minutes.
