Megeve is a ski resort village in the Alps of southeastern France, in the Evasion Mont Blanc resort. It offers downhill runs, snow parks and cross-country trails, with links to La Giettaz. The area features rustic-chic chalets, upmarket hotels and designer boutiques. Its pedestrian centre has cobbled medieval streets. In summer, trails lead through green forests and meadows, and up to Mont d'Arbois for panoramic views. The village boasts 89 restaurants, 3 of which are bestowed with 3 Michelin Stars.

Megeve has an enormous ski area, encompassing 445 km, more than 220 pistes and 100 lifts. The classic resort is at a lower altitude than many other major French alternatives, with its highest point at 2525 m on Mont-Joly. Even though the resort is at a lower altitude, snow cover is rarely an issue. From Megeve you will be able to purchase the affordable Evasion Mont Blanc lift pass, which costs a lot less than most ski resorts of a comparable or smaller size.
