Peaceful, bright and welcoming, la Maison de l'Oiselier is situated in a very pretty street within the medieval walls of Beaune.
Formerly owned by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune, the two houses have been connected by a glass veranda to create a bright space that now houses a 30m2 contemporary kitchen contrasting with the seventeenth century wooden stairs and corridors that lead to all floors.
The four bedrooms are equipped with very comfortable mattresses and each has a private bathroom and separate toilet. On the ground floor, the Linnet room has two twin beds (90 cm x 200 cm), an ensuite shower and separate toilet. On the 1st floor, the Bouvreuil room has two twin beds (90 cm x 200 cm), an ensuite shower and separate toilet; on the other side of the corridor, the Chardonneret room has a double bed (160 cm X 200 cm), a bathroom directly in the bedroom and a separate toilet. On the 2nd floor, the Pinson room has a double bed (160 cm X 200 cm), a bathroom directly in the bedroom and a separate toilet. The large lounge/dining room measures over 40m2 and opens on to the kitchen. A small TV lounge on the 1st floor provides a separate room to escape to and the terrace on the roof with its own living space, with an extra 90 cm X 200 cm bed, is very conducive to relaxation. The décor marries Jouy prints with old bird prints, English shades on the walls and Persian rugs laid down on the original floor tiles for a cosy atmosphere.
Quiet and welcoming, la Maison de l’Oiselier has all the usual facilities:
Induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher
