Located in Marseillan town, only 5 minutes walk from good local shops, amenities, restaurants and bars and 10 minutes from the beautiful Port of Marseillan with port side restaurants and bars and upmarket boutiques and 10 minutes walk from the town beach and park at Tabarka with outstanding views over the Etang du Thau towards Sete.

Maison Barral is a large and grand “maison vigneronne” split into 3 floors with many traditional features. The ground floor formerly used by the vignerons for wine production and stabling the horses which pulled the winecarts, the first floor where the owners, Sara & Jeff Spencer live and the second floor which is "Apartment Barral." Both partments have their own private entrance via a beautiful winding, but gentle stepped elegant staircase. Apartment Barral is just over 100 m2 / 1080 sq ft in area and historically, was the family's sleeping accommodation and a servant’s bedroom. It is very large, bright and airy and has views across the town, church and surrounding area. Maison Barral is one of the largest houses in the street. Some other houses are either still used for wine cultivation and production, or like Maison Barral, are now family homes or apartments. There is a feeling of being part of the industry that created the wealth in Marseillan during its heyday and today.
