Chamboulive is about a hour from the Dordogne.
There are many pretty villages close by including the medieval towns of Uzerche and Treignac. There is a lake and beach in the village at 300 metres from the house.
A large lake with a beach can be found at Seilhac (5 miles) and at Treignac (13 miles).
The Monediere mountains are located 7 miles away.
Further afield the cities of Limoges, Tulle and Brive are all less than an hour away.

The Correze is an area waiting to be discovered. It is an land of many contrasts. Mountains, lakes ancient villages and rolling fields are all part of the Correze. Despite it being undiscovered it is only 30 miles from the more popular area of the Dordogne. It is a walker's paradise. Short and long distance walks can be found including the challenging GR46 which passes close to the village.

Communication links:
The A20 is 10 miles from the house and Limoges airport will take just over an hour.
The nearest train station is at Uzerche and is 11 miles away.
The station is on the main Paris to Toulouse line.
There are regular trains to Limoges and Brive.
The new Brive airport will take about 50 minutes by car. You can get to the village from Paris by train and bus.
