Nearest large town is Ecommoy, 5.5km. Absolutely everything for a small town, 2 - 3 chemists, 2 opticians, 2 florists, 2 - 3 clothes shops, 4 banks, DIY/builders yard, 4 restaurants, 2 bars and a weekly market.

A further 2 km south is the A28 Autoroute, where there is a Lidl, 2 petrol stations, supermarkets, bars & restaurants etc..

Le Mans city and its medieval old town is situated approx 15 mins drive north through open countryside, with its many shops, bars, restaurants, university and colleges and regular markets.

The famous 24 hr Le Mans race entrance is 6.5miles.

Tourist facilities: Lake with man-made Beach about 10mins drive at Arnage. Fishing: 1km and a Carp lake about 3km. Swimming pools at Ecommoy and a large one in Le Mans with slides etc..


Ecole Maternelle and Primaire in the local village. College and Lycée in Le Mans.


Nearest equestrian centre is just 1km with international level eventing and showjumping competitions throughout the year. A huge international showjumping venue is 20 mins away at Yvre L'eveque and has 7 all weather arenas plus 2 huge international showjumping indoor arenas allowing competition all year. There is an extensive show network and competitions in this area.

Nearest Feed can be bought from Ecommoy, but there is a large equestrian shop near Ruaudin all about 10 mins drive.

Farriers are plentiful in this area as are English speaking vets including one specialist horse operations surgery, and there are two insemination centres about 15 and 25 mins drive.
