This is a beautiful large 3 bedroom (sleeps 6), air conditioned villa, situated on a very attractive domain of modern apartments and houses. The domain which enjoys stunning views over the bays of St Raphael and Frejus has a large swimming pool with a children's pool attached, 3 tennis courts and 2 boules courts.
This non-smoking property has an air-conditioned open plan living area with a large sofa, coffee table and occasional chairs. There is a large dining table seating eight people. There is a flat screen TV showing French and English channels, and a separate HiFi system. Two sets of French doors lead from the lounge to the garden and terrace. You have a choice of alfresco dining in the garden or under the covered terrace. There is a Weber gas BBQ and a table and chairs for your use. Alternatively you may wish to use the fully equipped American style kitchen, which includes oven and hob, dishwasher and a fridge freezer.
There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor and has the benefit of a large ensuite shower room. This is where the washing machine is located. It also has patio doors leading onto the outside terrace. The remaining two bedrooms are situated on the first floor. The large master bedroom has a double bed, air conditioning and ensuite shower room with patio doors leading to a balcony, which has views of the Alps and Mediterranean. This bedroom also has a large walk in wardrobe. The third bedroom also has a double bed with mountain views and has the use of a further bathroom with bath with shower attachment and WC. There is adequate storage within the property.
The sprawling Roman town of Fréjus is about 15 minutes drive away and nestled up beside it is St Raphael, a large seaside town with excellent shops, restaurants and bars. Nearby, there’s also a marina and a large water park that is perfect for a family day out. White sandy beaches, wild creeks and scented pine groves can all be found at St Aygulf, which is again only 5 minutes drive away. There’s also plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and a twice-weekly market – making this resort lively and very popular. 20 minutes drive away is Ste Maxime, a Mediterranean seaside town with white sandy beaches along the coast and the forested hills of the Maures providing a wonderful backdrop. In the town centre there are plenty of restaurants and bars and shopping ranges from small market stalls to trendy boutiques.
From Ste Maxime you can catch a boat across the bay to the elegant and world famous resort of St Tropez - disembarking alongside a never-ending line of luxury yachts. Still very popular with the jet-set, it’s here that you’ll find a multitude of designer shops, pavement cafes and bars as well as the famous market held twice weekly on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Plus of course the nightlife is legendary – providing plenty of opportunity for celebrity spotting
Finally, for something completely different, further afield is the Gorges du Verdon, a spectacular canyon that forms a border between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Var. Although much smaller than Arizona’s Grand Canyon, the Gorges is deep, compact, wild and beautiful. From Castellane to the village of Rougons, the Verdon river flows clear and swift, and the road follows along the banks. At Rougons, by the Point Sublime, the river plunges into narrow rock walls and there’s no escape until it comes out the western end before flowing into Lac de Ste Croix. Walking, canoeing and river rafting are all available in these stunning surroundings.
Each rental period runs from 4.00pm on Saturday to 10.00am on the following, or subsequent, Saturday morning. As this is a security gated development, your arrival must be between the hours of 4.00pm and 7.00pm so we can meet you on arrival, give you access to the estate and show you to your property.
In order to maintain the property to the highest possible standard, we ask that a damage deposit be paid in advance. This will be refunded, less any deductions for damages, no later than seven days after the day of departure.
The Golf de Roquebrune domain has a large open air fenced swimming pool which overflows into a circular child's pool. There are 3 tennis courts on the domain. Horse riding, golf and trout fishing are within 5 minutes drive of the villa. Walking, canoeing and river rafting are available in the beautiful and spectacular Gorges du Verdon. Sandy beaches, shops, nightlife and twice weekly markets are available in the lively resort of St Aygulf, 5 minutes drive away or in Frejus, St Raphael, St Maxime or St Tropez. Reduced green fees and spa treatments for our clients.
There is a service charge of €130 on all bookings payable on arrival to cover the cost of the staff who will look after you during your stay, enable the internet connection on arrival and clean the property when you depart.
The supply and laundry of bed-linen and set of house towels is available if required at an additional cost of €25 per person.
Rentals run from 4.00 pm on Saturday to 10.00 am on the following Saturday.
We ask that you arrive between the hours of 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Arrivals beyond this time will attract an additional charge.
A 25% deposit will be required to secure your booking.
There is a €200 refundable security deposit.
