The chalet is excellently located in Les Allues, both the telecabine and bus to Meribel Centre are just over 500m away and it is only a 10 minute walk in ski boots and kit. The bus goes via Meribel Village and there you can take a chair lift to the Altiport area, ideal for beginners and/or the first legs.
One of my reasons for choosing the Meribel Valley is that you are in the centre of the fabulous Les Trois Vallées with a multiple choice of directions and at the end of the day where ever you are you are only one valley away from home.
No matter how many times you come to the Three Valleys you will never ski all of it! It's like the Forth Bridge, by the time you get to the end the beginning has changed! Most of my time here has been free ski-ing so I think I'm well qualified to make such a bold statement.
