From the village there is an eight-person gondola, which provides a direct link to the ridge that overlooks the valley of Méribel on one side and les Menuires and Val Thorens on the other. There are a number of friendly bars and quality restaurants in the village and a couple of nightspots too.

Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble airports are roughly 2 hours away and Chambéry can be reached in about 45 minutes. The TGV goes into Moûtiers with a special ‘ski train’ linked to Eurostar from England available from Jan 1st until the end of the alpine season. Moûtiers is approximately 30 minutes from St Martin de Belleville.
