In the village of Ferrals les Corbieres, this charming old village house has a secluded roof terrace and is packed with original features and modern comforts. Located in a quiet pedestrian street it is perfect for a couple or single person wanting to experience the real France.

This is a typical village in the famous Corbieres wine growing region and has a bar, café, restaurant in an old chateau, boulangerie, mini market, tabac, hairdresser and doctor.

There are miles of fabulous walks through the vineyards and pine forests on the doorstep. The village of Fabrezan with several bars and restaurants is a twenty minute walk and the river at Ribaute a ten minute drive and perfect for swimming.

Ferrals les Corbieres is central to the famous Cathar castles, Abbeys, the cities of Narbonne, Carcassonne and Perpignan, and the beaches are also an easy drive away.

DESCRIPTION

The front door opens onto the kitchen/diner with beams, cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster. Small dining table and chairs.

Bathroom with bath and shower above, basin and w/c.

Original curving terracotta staircase into the bedroom with beams and original alcoves. Under stairs w/c and small basin.

Straight wooden staircase up to the living room with stunning beams and French doors onto secluded terrace. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or evenings under the stars. TV with English TV/radio channels.

Bed linen and towels are provided. Parking available in the Place du Chateau a few yards away.

Please note that the stairs to the top floor are quite steep. Sorry no children pets or smokers.

Weekly (Sunday changeover) or weekends/part weeks considered (only Saturday changeovers are not available).
