To complement these bank holidays, school holidays happen five times a year in France: in February (Winter Holiday, traditionally known as "ski holidays"), April (Easter or Spring Holiday), July and August (Summer Holiday), November (All Saints Holiday) and December (Christmas Holiday).
The allocation of the school holidays is done according to three "holiday zones" (A, B and C, respecting the school authorities) in order to share and manage the flow of French holidaymakers.
These dates are given as guidance only. Please double-check them with the local institutions before making any travel plans.
