Alsace Real Estate

Alsace is ideally situated between beautiful Switzerland, Germany and Franche Comté. It is also really close to Germany and Luxemburg. It is exactly the centre of Europe. This region has strong economic, cultural and historical links with Germany.

Outstanding nature and scenery combined with an historical past rich of exceptional cultural architectural interest, together with a multitude of celebrations and festivals, make it an exciting area to visit. These features make this region very attractive for potential real estate buyers. In recent years, the prices of real estate in France have been growing at a high rate, and so have the prices in the region of Alsace. This effect is also increased by the number of Britons settling, generally having a superior purchasing power (when it comes to houses) compared to that of the locals.

Indeed, boosted by the touristic attractions and the amazing scenery, real estate prices have been increasing fast in the last decade but generally are around the French average. Because of the increasing number of European workers in Alsace, it is very likely that investing in that region will be a good thing for the coming years.

Strasbourg is an interesting city to invest in, because of its general prices lower than some of the major cities in France, and because it is a central and major point of Europe you can be certain that the market will be very flexible.

If intending to buy in this region, bear in mind that the real estate prices here are around the French average, this though the obvious beauty of the region and its interest and location.
