Bordeaux Red Wine

This kind of grapes needs a lot of sun to reach its maturity which comes pretty late in the year. It will provide strong and tasty wines which will gain in taste if they stay few years more in bottle in the cellars. This kind of grapes is one of the most spread and planted in France and all over the world, indeed the best wines come from these French vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon wines like Bordeaux will be strong tasty and a bit tannin.
Cabernet Franc does not need such a late harvest than the Sauvignon; it gives a wine with less tannin but much more bouquet and finesse. As a varietal the Cabernet Franc is less cultivated in Aquitaine than its cousin the Sauvignon red wine. This fine red Bordeaux wine will be perfect accompanied of meats.

It is the French and world wide most planted kind of grape. The Merlot Noir produces a real aromatic and intense wine. Its prestigious aromatic bouquet is appreciated with the most sophisticated dishes. Merlot Noir has to be served to a temperature of 14◦ to be appreciated at its best value. A large part of the Saint Emilion Bordeaux red wine is done with this varietal.
Less cultivated than the others, the wine which is provided by these vineyards has a good tannin taste and is really colourful, it will be appreciated by all sorts of French wine lovers.
It gives colourful wines but a bit less tasty than its French neighbours. It will accompany all kinds of meat.
The full-bodied Bordeaux red fine wines are renowned for their bouquet, but also for their finesse. Their powerful intensity will accompany all sorts of sophisticated meals, with red meat but also the famous foie gras, or with good cheese of which they will enhance the savour. The Bordeaux Merlot wine will be appreciated fot its sweetness and warmth.
