Aquitaine Road Network and Travel

Aquitaine boasts a huge road network and roads are of quality. It is also linked to Paris and the South via motorways.

There are in total about 360 miles between Paris and Bordeaux, the main city of Aquitaine. Once you are in Bordeaux, after visiting the city centre, we suggest you travel a little in the surroundings. In one hour only, you will be able to be on the beach and admire the very turbulent Atlantic ocean! You can also follow the wines route; the Aquitaine region of France is the largest region growing fine wines in the world, so why not benefit from this plus? You will definitely enjoy tasting world-renowned wines in the typical local cellars.
