Saint-Georges is a town located in the Cantal department, in the Auvergne region. It accounts for 1,100 inhabitants who live in about 40 villages, hamlets and isolated farmhouses.

The town spreads over 3,314 hectares, 2,000 hectares of which are cultivated by farmers. The commune is situated only a few kilometres from Saint-Flour and belongs to the ‘communauté de communes du Pays de Saint-Flour’ (community of towns).
